Santa Ynez High School is known for its strong academic achievement, college and career preparation, and graduation rates above 90%. However, our high school was built 90 years ago in 1937 and is in urgent need of repairs. Aging classrooms, science labs, career training facilities, and infrastructure need repairs and upgrades to deliver safe, high-quality education.  

 

That is why we need Measure D to deliver the critical upgrades our students need. 

 

Measure D will provide $80,000,000 in locally controlled funding to repair water leaks, fix deteriorating rooms and update classrooms for modern learning.  

 

Measure D is an investment in our children and our community. Excellent public schools benefit our kids, our community, and our property values.
